OUR MISSION.

The Concert Chorale of Harlem (TCCH) annual concert series will be held on Nov 19, 2023 at the Little Theatre in Kingston Jamaica. this concert is in aide with our two(2) fundraising efforts this year, where we provide free medical screening in under served communities, alongside providing free music education in schools. We have partnered with
Zion Care International in their medical mission as they have engaged the team at Montefiore hospital to provide the medical support staff needed to host the free health clinic. In July, members of TCCH were present to volunteer at our first health screening. It was a major success as over 3000 individuals showed up for free dental & hypertension screening to name a few.
 

This year, not only will we be helping with this medical mission, we also will be presenting a Classical Music/Opera concert in Jamaica. This is inline with our own efforts of enhancing music education across our communities. We will also be holding a series of masterclasses and workshops at the Edna Manley School of Music which will be open to the public. To this end, we have secured Grammy nominated Soprano Laquita Mitchell and Gregory Lamar, internationally
renowned voice couch to host these events. We will also be partnering with the School of Music to offer a scholarship to a well deserving student to attend the Brooklyn College, Conservatory of Music. We are also working on a project for primary and high schools to make music education a part of the curriculum as we know that music in education benefits an individual on many levels.
